With Count Meade’s plot against the royal family of Paffuto revealed, Claire Martino has prevented at least one tragedy from occuring to her beloved Prince Vik. Now, however, she must reveal to him and her friends the real reason she arrived from an alternate timeline: when her true magical abilities were revealed to the royals of her home country of Noston, a war between Noston and Paffuto broke out. And of course it’s difficult to recount the truth of those events without mentioning her engagement to Prince Vik…
